Get Married in America's Grandest Castle
New York is full of rich history and entertaining places to visit, especially where the Gold Coast of Long Island is concerned. One of the most amazing is the Oheka Castle and Estate. Imagine if you will, a historical 109,000 square foot private residence, built in the 1920's era of opulence and entertaining with breathtaking rooms and exquisite decor.
Oheka Castle and Estate is the second largest privately owned house ever built in America, and has changed hands many times since it was originally built in the early 1900's by the philanthropist Otto Kahn. The glamorous estate was almost lost entirely after the building was abandoned in 1979, and suffered over 100 arson attacks as well as being vandalized, before being bought by businessman GeorgeMelios who finally restored the estate to its original splendor.
